Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Bellaire. Across Texas, 399 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Bellaire whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Alternate Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

Great Service! Highly recommended for industrial and commercial solar installation!

Great supplier of solar light towers and energy storage systems. Based in Houston and 10 minutes from my company. Great after sales service.

I initially had my doubts, but after experiencing a personal demonstration, I was genuinely impressed. My team and I decided to test it out at one of our events where we needed effective lighting. It illuminated the entire field beautifully for the night, serving around 10,000 to 15,000 attendees. We purchased one just over two years ago, and it has truly been a game changer for us.

What reviewers keep mentioning

  • tower 2

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“versatile solar solutions backed by a warranty on all electrical components.”

  • 24/7 availability

“areas. These mobile units provide 24/7 surveillance and can be strategically…”

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Bellaire is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
