Its one and two star share is 6 points above the typical installer in the Visalia area. Across California, 544 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 50 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in the Visalia area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★50%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Visalia area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. AltSys Solar Inc. is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I made an appointment with Eric for a solar project estimate, but he was a NO SHOW. I arranged my work schedule to meet with him which resulted in a waste of my time and money. A simple call to reschedule and/or inform me about any unanticipated delay or other issue would have been the professional thing to do.

What a terrible company. We've had solar installed for four months from this company and have received ZERO benefits. Our bills have doubled and the company has been ignoring us for weeks. Even after a conversation with PG&E, which led to us finding out that Eric Sustaita has not even processed out paperwork with PG&E. So after telling us we were on solar, not turning in out paperwork properly, they have now been ignoring us. Terrible customer service.

Called 6 times to get a quote and no one picked up their phone. Starting off on the wrong foot.

AltSys Solar did a fantastic job. Once the battery came in, they had installed within the next couple of days.

From start to finish, we had an exceptional solar experience! Eric was so helpful explaining what we needed in our system and why. Yolanda in the office is always there for your questions. The installation team worked so efficiently. Bennie and Bryan helped us better understand how our system works. Thanks to the whole team at Altsys Solar, Inc!

After many discussions with solar companies, we decided to go with AltSys Solar, and are we glad we did. This is a no pressure outfit. They are friendly and really get to know our energy needs. They not only install, they also teach you how to get the most out of your system. We were up and running in about 5 days! My only regret; I should’ve listened to my wife and made the move to solar three years ago! We highly recommend AltSys!

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
