Aptos Solar Technology

Every company we hold in Texas whose Google breakdown has been read, grouped by their share of one and two star reviews. Aptos Solar Technology is in the highlighted group.

Coming from an end user, these panels are packaged horribly. Very difficult to use on a jobsite. The panels are vertically stacked so good luck using anything other than a job pack. Customer service is nonexistent.

What a joke of a company. The representatives of this company are highly uneducated and not professional. They have no idea about photovoltaic technologies. This is a group of people looking to make a buck.

Working with Aptos Solar Technology has been a great experience and I look forward to purchasing their solar panels soon!

Great panels. We use Aptos panels because of their high wind rating, low saltwater intrusion ratings, and temperature coefficients. These panels are perfect for harsh climates in particular, but are a great option anywhere. I own and operate a solar installation company called Sailfish Solar in Florida. I have been involved with the solar industry for almost 20 years. We have vetted more than 100 different types of panels and installed more than a dozen different types. Aptos consistently rises to the top of our choices.

This is the panel to use. High wind rating does not just help in hurricanes, it also helps with long term production of the panels. The great temperature coefficients help in the warmer climates.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It posts on Pinterest, X, YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
