Its one and two star share is 6 points below the typical installer in South Carolina. Across South Carolina, 63 of the 101 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 8 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Worked with Bob back in 2020. He recommended a great system while working with Summit Solar on our home here in Greer that is performing above my expectation still. Beyond being personable, he brings a huge volume of knowledge to the table. Cannot give a better recommendation.

I have known Bob for four years. He is an incredible person. I referred him to my mother-in-law. He did not sell her solar because she would need to cut down trees first and then he would come back if she wanted him to. He has integrity on the job! If you're considering buying solar and he recommends it, go for it.

Bob has done work for me at my home and for many of my customers; always professional and knowledgeable. Prices are fair and reasonable. Bob is very trustworthy and helpful - highly recommend

Reviewer names are not published here. Negative reviews are shown first because they are the ones a listing hides, not because they are more representative.

What reviewers keep mentioning

  • solar panels 2
  • helpful staff 2

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Free estimate

“Energy Industry. Contact Bob for a FREE Consultation to see how he may be able to save you…”

  • Years in business

“Honest. Serving the CAROLINAS with over 40+ years of experience in the Energy Industry.”

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
