CustomSmart Homes & Solar

Each mark is one company we hold in Tennessee whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. CustomSmart Homes & Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Disrespectful and very unprofessional. Their 3.9 rating on Facebook speaks for itself lol

I've worked with Custom Smart Homes on many projects and they will always be my "go-to"! I've used them for my personal needs as well as for my company and have never been disappointed. The staff is always professional, neat and more than competent in their work and attitude. If you're looking for a company that does what they say and is customer-oriented, then this is the company to choose. Thanks again for the great job at our warehouse!

CustomSmart installed solar for our church, and they were a pleasure to work with throughout the process. We had very specific budgetary needs and they listened to what we needed, which was key for us. They were incredibly creative in finding an option that would work for us and even gave us several quotes so we could find the best fit for our situation. They explained the process and were available to answer questions every step of the way. Being a church, we were slow sometimes to arrive at decisions, but they were patient, and there was no pressure to move quickly. They handled every part o

These guys were great and pricing competitive. Very professional, competent crew that got the work done quickly. They stay on top of your system to calibrate it for a while and handle every bit of the paperwork including the sell-back. Highly recommended.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Established

“East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia since 2008. With over 200 custom homes completed…”

• Years in business

“Bill Lizzio Jr., CustomSmart brings more than 75 years of combined expertise in…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It posts on X, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Johnson City is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
