We had Mr Rob Pryor come to our home and tell us how much money we’d save with solar. I believe we would if they would keep up with the issues. We have solar panels down, not working at all, and have contacted Rob several times with no return communication. Our true up this year is over $1,500. Rob assured us that the system we put up would be big enough to cover our electric needs. And I believe it would be if they would keep the solar running. When we first got solar we paid our solar bill and our high electric bill for months because the system wasn’t connected yet. I would not recommend th

We had Extreme Solar Solutions add solar panels to our barn to offset the costs of installing a new well at a second meter we also own in April of 2023. It is now June of 2025 and they have yet to complete the interconnection agreement with PG&E, so we have paid over $11k in electric charges while PG&E has gotten $11k worth of free electricity because they won't apply the overage to our 2nd account. I am now seeking legal counsel to try and recoup my losses. This post is my last resort before reporting to the Better Business Bureau. If someone would like to reach out, I've sent multiple emails

One thing this company does is they don’t tell the customer that they oversize there solar kw to what the transformer that is connected to there meter. So when they do the interconnection it’s a fail. So then they tell the customer it was a oversight issue and now the customer has to pay a extra charge just to use the extra kw they dearly paid for. Either this solar company doesn’t care or is dishonest or just doesn’t know that all solar jobs start at the transformer when building a solar proposal

Thank you to Both Robert and Raymond, they were a class act to deal with. I would highly recommend them and all employees of Extreme Solar Solutions.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.
Elsewhere
- It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
