Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Pennsylvania. Across Pennsylvania, 72 of the 146 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 24 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

James and his team did a great job with our install and has the absolute best pricing in the area. Very satisfied with the work!

We had our solar installed by James and Green Legacy about 7 months ago. Was so easy for us and the price was better than the other 4 bids we got that I was skeptical at first that something would go sideways. We couldn't be happier and seeing that we are producing slightly more than estimated is awesome! Also, we haven't had one issue since we got it installed. Highly recommend them. Got the perfect curve today ;)

Working with James and his associates was a wonderful experience. First and foremost, his price for solar was the best of several quotes that we received. When I dug in, I learned this was because there were no extra costs built in, no huge sales organization. James is a straight shooter who is very knowledgeable about solar (has it on his own house, which was a selling point for me), and always available to answer any questions that my husband or I had (which we texted, emailed and called plenty). His team was always on time, considerate of our home, and worked clean. I work night shift, and

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“a solar system for your home, go over financing options, and provide you with all the…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
