Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in Florida. Across Florida, 371 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 4 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

If you are thinking about going solar, You MUST talk to these guys. They do it all. Stay away from the people who come knocking on your door. Those people are the scamming middle man. Cut out the middle man and go directly to this company. Gulf Electrical Solar will do exactly WHAT they tell you they're going to do. They will do it WHEN they tell you they're going to do it, and......they will do it RIGHT. Do not waste your time with these companies who call your house and knock on your door. This company will stay with you after the installation is complete. Their customer service is impeccabl

Great service I highly recommend dealing with Nick. He came to the property provided a quote, explained everything answered all my questions. (Even texting afterwards w things i forgot to ask) His install team was great , within 2 days everything installed , permit inspection passed. Everything was smooth like butter.

I have been referring my customers to Gulf Electrical Solar for over 9 years. The positive feedback I receive from my customers , Gulf Electrical’s competitive pricing, integrity and professionalism are the reasons why I continue to support them in referrals. i encourage you to do the research and you will come to the same conclusion.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“home! Receive a call within 24 hours guaranteed or get $500 off your entire system!”

  • Years in business

“to Gulf Electrical Solar for over 9 years. The positive feedback I receive from…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Davenport is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
