Its one and two star share is 5 points below the typical installer in Plainfield. Across Illinois, 104 of the 183 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 14 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Plainfield whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Illinois Solar Power is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

I had solar panels installed and I'm very happy with the service. I'm saving almost 50% on my electricity bill. I highly recommend them.

  • 5★ · around August 2023

I worked with Walter. He explained how the panels work and the benefits of solar energy. I pay $15 to the electric company. I'm just waiting to receive the federal and state incentives.

  • 5★ · around August 2023

Jonny was AMAZING. He was very thorough on the initial consultation and answered all of our questions. The company handled the communication with our HOA and the town so it was very easy. The install was efficient and problem-free. We have had our panels for over a year and we know it was worth the time and money. I highly recommend Illinois Solar Power.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Plainfield is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
