Signed the deal on 9.2.25 and was told I'd have solar working by Thanksgiving, it is 4.8.26 and it's still not operational, they made me sign a 2nd contract for more money and the no out of pocket has cost me 725.00 so far and it's still not working

Horrible experience all around. Would give zero stars if I could. We were told nothing but lies from the beginning. The whole process was unprofessional. My husband spend two hours discussing at length with the sales agent, was told that our solar would cover the cost of electricity and our bill from ComEd would be minimal. Our bill has not changed, and now we have to pay a solar price on top of it. We were informed that we would need a beam installed in our attic to support the weight of the panels. Multiple times we changed around our work schedules to accommodate, only for them to not show

Update: It has been a year, and the free gift card and wine for signing up we still haven't received, but they say "you can get $ for each referral." We didnt even get the original reward in the first place 🙄. We never received a tax rebate for the state because we weren't eligible (it didn't even exist), but we did receive the federal one. We have been waiting since July to have the panels installed. Our permits were approved Oct 3 by the city, and we reached out to them. They said that they saw that they were approved and now we are waiting on scheduling. We had to reach out to them AGAIN t

The company is good overall, nice customer service experience during the design and installation process. If you ever consider going on solar, strongly advise you to go and dive into how solar program really works as far as the incentives work, the sales representative either don't know about it or will hide some risks from you; it may take much longer to receive the state credit than what they tell you (3-4 months after installation on the State credit), you may not receive that for a few reasons, etc. and if that happens, it's definitely not worth to have solar panels in your roof, you'll ea

My sales representative Jacob Simpson was top tier. Dealt with some of these door to door companies before & am usually not pleased. Jacob was very thorough & thoughtful. He answered all of my questions throughout the process & helped me get a very clean installation. It's eliminated my electric bill altogether & I'm very happy with my decision. I'd definitely recommend Jacob & ION Solar!

I had such a great experience! The nice guy that came to my door clear through talking with Braxton was a pleasant experience and I applaud these young men. So well trained and I honestly thought going solar meant spending thousands of dollars upfront just to get started. Their model home program made complete sense because of the way he made everything simple to understand, and I was surprised to learn how their system could actually help me start saving right away. Everyone was very kind, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. The ION Earth program, is such an awesome part of what they do. Ni

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
