  Poor experience with Third Sun Solar. This is my second solar install at my property (first was a 52 panel ground mount). My second solar install was for 18 panels and two Tesla Powerwalls. The installation crew came to my house with an incorrect circuit / load panel design after I spent months, many emails, and numerous phone calls with the sales team. Date on my installation diagrams was months before my install so the design was never reviewed for accuracy. The install team completed the design "on the fly" just hoping it would work / be correct.   Don’t waste your time if you want to go off grid! I really wanted to support a local business but they won’t offer an off grid solution. Reading about how the company was started you would think they would want to help others do the same. Such a shame they turn away local business.

  Kokosing Solar (Athens) is amazing. They have wonderful customer support (thank you Christina ) whether you call or email them they always are polite and get back with you right away. Their attention to detail is impeccable. Eric, their head technician, came out to service our Solar Edge inverter/safety switch because the fuses kept blowing. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and found that the fuse box did have some loose connections, and some wires in the inverter box were hooked up wrong from a previous installer. He was also able to get our solar edge app up and running and transfer the p

• Google also lists this company under roofing. A company that does both roofing and solar can handle the roof work a panel install often needs.
• It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.
