Its one and two star share is 9 points above the typical installer in Wyoming. Across Wyoming, 5 of the 22 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 113 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Wyoming whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. NextEnergy.ai is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

The lady on the phone I talked to was very sweet the guys that came out and did the job were very nice BUT...... I'm still waiting for hookup I called Xcel and they said Spencer Gordon hadn't sent them the information they needed to complete the process. I called and emailed. That part is very disappointing how long it takes and how slow they are to give the information to Excel and actually get it up and running.

Non-responsive. Had one phone call with them about installing a battery and took the steps they advised. Then they stopped returning calls to setup the install. Disappointing service to say the least.

This company came out to fix an outlet at our house through Homeserve, whom they contract with. Homeserve has been great, but we've had a horrible experience with the man who is either a manager or the owner. Communication has been poor and we've had multiple unprofessional interactions. After the outlet was fixed, I discovered that lights and outlets weren't working downstairs. I contacted Shane the electrician that did the repair via phone and asked if he could come back to take a look. I didn't expect an appointment immediately, but pretty soon after that he stopped responding to texts and

Our previous solar company has been taken over by NextEnergy. Without fail an inverter has gone out leaving us with two panels out. When my husband called them to see if they could fix/replace NextEnergy did not waste anytime at all. The new inverter is ordered and they will install upon deliver. Awesome customer service. Thank you for your prompt service.

This company was great!! Stated price, time and deliver both professionally. The technician was great to deal with. Highly recommend!

Beware! Do not pay until entire job is finished! I’m giving this company 4 stars and not five because of their follow through with the job at our home. We paid in cash a total of $20,000. They didn’t deliver battery when they said, because (they couldn’t get them in) . When they did install, the installation guys were great! We paid the balance owed that day. Was told next thing would be an inspection and then they had a team that would fix the drywall. I had to repeatedly call them about getting an inspector out, then when inspector came there was no paperwork in the box. Had to call again. H

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
