Got project solar in 2023… look out folks if you have issues, trying to get customer service and help has been nightmarish. I have hail damage on a roof and am trying to get it replaced before I time out on claim. Project Solar reps are doing everything possible to say my warranty is not with Project Solar and with TriSmart the installer. I can’t reach TriSmart and project solar is saying I have to use their roofer only and I can only work thru them. I didn’t pay 24k to TriSmart I paid it to project solar and I’m doing everything possible to not void my warranty. If this is what after installa

I paid cash in full for 4 solar systems on my multifamily property. The system was installed improperly. I was intentionally misled regarding the installation. It took 2 years to get the system operational. It worked for a year or so and quit working again 8 months ago. Project solar has failed to do anything. They are not honoring the warranty. They have stolen then thousands and thousands of dollars I worked hard to earn. I have a paperweight on my roof that is providing no electricity. Project Solar will not even return my calls. If you are considering a Solar project...stay far away from P

Plans, permits, parts and materials, support and everything else was outstanding. The price however, was ridiculous... 3 times cheaper than any other company could offer.

Well, it took a while for the solar panels to get here but once they did it was easy to hook up. Works great except it does have some quirks. Went into overload mode even when nothing was plugged in . Took me a short time to figure out how to get it out of that mode, but finally did. Had to press the AC and DC buttons at the same time for about 20 seconds. Otherwise I'm satisfied with it. Oh, and they have great customer service and will answer any questions you might have.

Very pleased with the overall cost and installation process. Got a bigger system than the door knockers offered for 60% of the cost. We pay $130 per month for a 2 story 2500 sq ft house w/ a 11.7KW system and it produces almost 90% of our yearly electricity. :)

What the company says about itself
Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.
Years in business
“year Pay $98,748 in electricity costs over 25 years Pay your electric bill forever…”
Its website also mentions warranty and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.
Elsewhere
- It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
- It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Spanish Fork is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
