Its one and two star share is 3 points above the typical installer in the Fort Lauderdale area. Across Florida, 131 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 38 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Update 2: 2/17/2025 I wish I could have adjusted my rating higher instead of down. Christina did get me connected with my solar edge account in the time frame she said it would. But it’s been a month later and I’ve still had issues with the inverter tripping and a month ago I told her I would pay to have techs come out and diagnose the issue. It’s been since December with the tripping issues. But I never got ahold of her again. Anyone else that answers just states they will leave a message for Christina to get back to me at the end of the day. Never happens. One of the times I got the email of

I had heard mixed experiences about solar companies, so I went into this cautiously. But this team turned out to be quite reliable. They arrived on time for both consultation and installation, which is rare these days. They also helped me understand the paperwork involved, including net metering, which I had no idea about before. One small issue came up with wiring after installation, but they came back within a day and fixed it without any extra charge. That kind of after-service matters a lot. Overall, I feel confident recommending them based on my experience.

I had a great experience with solar champs. Christina and Emmanuel were honest, responsive and made sure everything was was done right. The process from permitting to installation was smooth and even when delay fames up. My system is running perfectly and I’m already seeing savings. Highly recommend this company to anyone looking to go solar.

Hello, I am very pleased with the service. The technician Emmanuel was punctual, professional and thorough in his work. He explained everything clearly, offered some advice on how to maintain my PV panels. He stayed until the system was completely up and running. We appreciate him and Solar Champs and would highly recommend it to friends in the future. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Thumbtack. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
