Quality of this installer has gone down over the years. Note that this company has been acquired by Mars Home Solutions, so this review applies to them as well. My complaint centers primarily around the complete ineptitude in completing the final inspection, which took around 9 months from the actual install. The inspection failed 4 times. Was it because the inspector kept finding new issues? No - it's simply because the issues pointed out by the inspector were not resolved by the time the next inspection happens. The pattern went like this: - Inspector clearly communicates what needs to be fi

If i could give 0 stars, i would. Definitely stay away. We had the panels installed dec 18, 2025. The PG&E collar was installed in february 2026. The company has been fully paid but we got a solar loan to pay for the rest of the 50k. We're still waiting on the inspection to be done and it's been 6 months since install. They keep saying they're waiting on the city. I have seen no progress. So we're paying for the solar loan, still have a true-up that is occurring each month and basically have a giant useless paper weight on my roof Again, still waiting.

These people are the worst at communication. Multiple times, we have directed them to contact ME, not my husband, who is living out of state at the time. They said they were coming over on a Friday, at which my husband said no one would be home and they need to reschedule, also reminding them AGAIN to coordinate with me, and they didn’t read the message and/or care about what we said. They came over when no one was home, CUT UP MY TRELLIS AND CUT MY HONEYSUCKLE IN HALF, kicked up irrigation lines, broke some pest deterrent stakes, pulled the trellis from the wall, and left litter EVERYWHERE. Professional and polite! Johnny and his crew-Chris, Danny and Connor provided an exceptional experience. Knowledgeable and skilled in what they do. Made an extra effort to make sure everything is setup properly, surpassed my expectations. Greatly appreciated! Highly recommend their service. Update: 04/01/2026 Everything was great in the beginning of the process. They did a repair but it didn't last long. Within the last 2 years, multiple damages on the ceilings due to the water leak penetration that's occurring... I have reached out and contacted the main office and mobile number numerous time

After looking at many different solar options and companies, I couldn't be happier with my choice. Solar Savings Direct has been great! The sales process and pricing were better than the other solar companies. Their team took care of everything from obtaining the permit, utility set up and inspection. The install was seamless and the crew was professional and courteous. 10/10, I would recommend this company for your solar needs. I am pleased I decided to go solar!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

“equipment and professionalism. You're guaranteed outstanding customer service, and…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
