Its one and two star share is 3 points above the typical installer in California. Across California, 615 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 46 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Terrible experience with SolarTech. My panels were installed in April, and I’m still paying both my solar payment and a regular electric bill. No one takes responsibility or gives any solutions! They send me from place to place without any responses. After countless calls to SolarTech and Enfin I still have no solution. Technicians have even left my home without electricity twice. Months of payments, calls, and frustration with no accountability. I’m now considering legal action. I would not recommend SolarTech.

It's been a very bad experience to say the least 👎 Lack of interés on finishing the job , i been calling them reguesting updates that never received , has send staff from the inglewood office with no tools , they show up in rental vehicles , make instalation appointment, and then cancel several times , i the customer have had to provide the wires and proms plugs to commision my system, at times show up unannounced without making any prior appointment, send people to work on my system that came to work stomach sick and ware working on my roof bomitting, damage my gate by running the dolly whil

Is it normal for the Tesla battery light to stay on? It never used to be on before.

Roof was completed in time as scheduled. It looks great. Workers did a great job keeping access open to other tenants and left job site cleaned up before leaving. They even went the extra mile to repaint the old drain vent pipes that were sticking up to add a nice finishing touch to complete the job.

Everything went smoothly. Just waiting for the instructions and final inspection.

Highly professional installation crew. Good communications during the process.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“services. Financing Discover flexible financing options to make solar energy affordable for…”
  • Warranty

“monitoring . Do you offer support for warranty or non-warranty issues? Yes. We…”
  • Years in business

“specific energy usage patterns. With over 25 years of experience and 15,000+…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, established and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
