The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 25 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I’ve been trying to get Sunstar’s attention for 2-1/2 years because my electricity bills were exorbitant. When they finally sent two techs out and found a longstanding problem, they ghosted me when I asked for a tech to confirm all necessary repairs were completed and the system is working properly in its intended purpose. They have not responded to me at all since at least early March, despite multiple messages and calls. Update: SunStar has now publicly responded that the system “has been producing from day 1.” My concern has never been whether the system produced some power. My concern is w

I would not recommend booking with this company. I reached out multiple times regarding an issue that was supposed to have been resolved, but I continue to receive excuses instead of action. Once the owner receives your money and lock you into a contract , communication stops and you’ll be left with no support. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for reliable service.

Sunstar Solutions is by far the worst solar company that I have worked with. At the beginning (around March 27th, 2025), everything was running smoothly. The solar panel installation was quick and easy. The technicians that did all of the wiring were amazing! However, my issues started a few days after my system was installed. Due to a random power outage (around April 2nd, 2025), my solar panels stopped generating electricity and the backup system did NOT turn on like it was supposed to. I made several attempts to call Sunstar Solutions and had no success. After a week of trial an error, I ma

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
