Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in West Sacramento. Across California, 397 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in West Sacramento whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Tesla Energy - Sacramento is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Pros: Reliable equipment, simple installation, Cons:poor customer service, optimized charging for Powerwalls and arbitrary export limits set by Tesla. Otherwise, they generally have competitive pricing. Avoid the arbitration clause, they resist honoring venue and choice of law terms.

Just a great experience working with all of you from initial contact to the installation & after. The app takes care of us when needed and it is very user friendly too. Also the price was much better than our local quote. No complaints! Working directly with Tesla saved us money & they never pressured us to spend more than was necessary. When the PG&E inspector was here he said everything was done correctly which was a rarity in this business. So thanks again Tesla!

Solar Panels are a great investment as our last electric bill was $0.43 running the air conditioner in the afternoons. Now in heat wave anticipate cost of night & day use to be vastly decreased over past years since peak generation hours still allow some of the power generated to go to the grid. (Past summer electric bills $200-300 per month.) Installation clean and short. App makes monitoring easy & can reach out with questions or get assistance as need.

Got solar panels and Powerwalls installed recently. The entire process was seamless and efficient as was with while ordering an EV from Tesla. Mostly online, minimal visits and everything handled on time and efficiently. Great experience during and after. Enjoying the greenergy revolution!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
