Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in Texas. Across Texas, 399 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 19 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Now that I've had my panels for at least six months, I can say this was a great investment. We have two EV's that we charge mainly during sunny days, which saves us so much money. Dealing with Texas Green Energy was a very good experience. We had dealt with a number of other companies, but the trust, or price, wasn't there. We had complete confidence with Bryson. Installation was fast and efficient. We are on equal billing with our electric company and it has already dropped with further savings in the future. Not to mention we no longer have a gas bill. Heartedly recommend this company to any

Very impressed with the teams professionalism and competence. I dealt with Bryson and Tommy , both are great leaders. They took care of city and HOA permits. We are pleased with the installation. I highly recommend Texas Green Energy !!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“harnesses the power of the sun. With over 18 years of experience in solar electricity…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate, family owned, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
