Started with good planning with no delivery. It's so sad to say promises were said, but services were VERY LACKING. I had to be the one actively asking for what was happening with the project. I can not rate the entire workmanship since I did not get any physical services for my roof. The sales pitch is very persuasive and promise driven, but the outcome is not there. I called, emailed, texted, and finally gave up since I have not heard from them for 2 weeks now. I had to find another roof company that could talk to talk and walk to walk.

None of their numbers work. I’ve been trying to contact them all day yesterday and today

This is a terrible company. Their panels were already installed when we bought our house, and I have been trying for literal months to get someone from this company to come out and help with a service issue, but no one ever answers the phone and the voicemail is always full, and they don’t respond to emails either. It seems they only care about making money on the initial installation, but don’t care about standing behind their product and providing ongoing service. Would give zero stars if that were possible. EDITED 6/22/23: still haven’t heard from this business and can’t get through to anyo

We had a fantastic experience with True Renewable Energy! They helped my family install solar panels and a new roof, and the entire process was seamless. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to providing excellent service. Highly recommend this company for anyone considering renewable energy solutions!

True Renewable Energy is THE company to go with if you’re installing solar panels. I’m a home owner in the Bay Area and have been jumping through hoops trying to find a company with not only the best price, but the best user experience as …

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on X, YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Emeryville is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
