Its one and two star share is 2 points above the typical installer in Florida. Across Florida, 285 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 48 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I've been disappointed with nearly every aspect of my interaction with this person/company. I won't say he intentionally lied to me but as it would turn out nearly everything we were told about "going solar" wasn't true. I'd probably encourage anyone dealing with this company to not only do your research, but definitely get a second opinion. The amount the system would produce was sold as being able produce to be more than 100% of the homes needs. That turned out not to be true. The return of the full expected amount of "tax credit", was also not true. I am now paying out of pocket for both of

I get the pleasure of working with Universal Clean Energy on a daily basis and couldn't be happier with the service and work they provide! Go solar and go with Universal Clean Energy!

This is the real deal. I met with a lot of solar companies before I made the decision to go with UCE. This is a great solar array with the warranties to back it up. I had active panels on my roof in just a few weeks. I had 90mph winds and the panels held up great! The solar panels actually cover all my power and my last bill was $12.82. Vince is the real deal, I would recommend him to anyone.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
