Its one and two star share is 12 points above the typical installer in Colorado. Across Colorado, 40 of the 216 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 14 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Almost eleven months and my solar panels that I am paying for are still unable to pass inspection. Three failed inspections and the fourth one isn't scheduled until January 2024.

On 07/07/2022 I signed a solar contract with John Duprey from Affordable Solar and Titan Solar. John informed me that the timeline for the project would be 3-4 months. Unfortunately nearly 7 months later the project is not complete. I contacted John about the issues I have been having such as being charged interest when the system is not turned on nor do I even have my EV Charger installed, the canceled inspections, the doubled timeline of the project I have been met with prideful sarcastic remarks, personal feelings, or just nothing at all. John has lied to me. He would have his financial tea

We made first contact with this solar company when we met Gin at a home improvement show in Colorado Springs, February 2023. We made an appointment with John soon after and got the process going. He was very knowledgeable and told us everything we needed to know about the entire process at our meeting. The crew that installed our 11 solar panels were efficient, neat and pleasant. After all the inspections and approvals by our electric provider we turned the system on the 29th of September 2023. I waited to write this review to give the system time to do its thing, and it’s doing it beautifully

John and Gin at Affordable Solar were very helpful in the process of getting our 4.8 kWh solar panel and battery setup completed and assisted every step of the way in keeping Titan Solar on time with the install. Everything is working great with our new system, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Gin's sensational Solar Scones were quite a hit with the Wife and I as well.

Very professional, listened to our situation in needing to upgrade an already installed but aging off grid system, got us exactly what we wanted/needed and worked tirelessly to integrate new equipment into an older system while staying within our budget. Thanks John!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on X, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Monument is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
