Its one and two star share is 7 points above the typical installer in Modesto. Across California, 450 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 11 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in Modesto, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★15%

Each mark is one company we hold in Modesto whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Apex Energy Group is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Jacob sold me a contract with a company that went bankrupt 3 months later, leaving my project half-finished. All the phone numbers were disconnected. Called the guy multiple times (which he never picked up) and kept telling me that he was "sick" so he couldn't answer. Once they sold you the contract, they don't care anymore. Think twice before you work with these guys.

Great service provided by the company and their team members. Wasn’t afraid to reach out to them with any questions or concerns. They respond ready with an answer. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Genuine in their purpose instead of just wanting to “make the sale”

I was on the fence about solar didn't believe in the hype. After talking with Jesus and him breaking down what I could be saving. I said let's do it. In my first 3 months of being in my home 1500 in electric bills. It was a no brainer. Now I get credits from my electrical provider. The process was fast and easy. The installers were clean about their work and had me up and running in 1 day. They do all the work you just sign the dotted line and enjoy the benefits.

Happy customer here! Jesus was wonderful and answered all the questions and concerns I had. The entire process was fairly quick from signing my contract to install! I definitely recommend these guys!

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
