I called Austin Solar Attic Fans yesterday after my plumber told me the solar fan in my attic didn't seem to be working. The reason this was a problem is the temperature in my attic kept spiking and causing the pilot light of the water heater to go out. Pete, the owner of the company picked up. He had just crawled out of an attic, but took the time to answer my questions and go over pricing and my options. He was confident enough in his pricing to encourage me to shop around to compare prices. And he even offered to come by and take a look at my current fan, which I gratefully took him up on.

The owners were friendly, and professional, they had fair pricing, were thorough in explaining the process, the installation was lightning fast, and the installer even sealed up an exposed nailhead on my roof that had created a small leak. I couldn't ask for more. Grateful to have done business with Austin Solar Attic Fans.

Absolutely some of the best customer service and the product installation was done quickly and professionally. The price for each unit is fair considering the longevity of each piece and what it will save you in utility bills. Pete and his team are the best folks to work with. Highly recommend them and their product. You won't be disappointed.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate and family owned, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Bastrop is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
