Its one and two star share is 3 points above the typical installer in Texas. Across Texas, 312 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 19 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Trespassing on my property and making my dogs go crazy. There are signs everywhere that beg these scavengers not to knock. Everyone knows solar is a scam and now it’s clear their reps have no respect either. Even yelled through our doorbell to stop and ignorantly just kept disturbing our dogs.

It was my smart choice to chose Smart Solar Pros among the others. They provide quality and efficient solar. From almost $400 electricity bill down to $150 was so amazing that I can save money from now on. Great job and thank you.

It is three times more rigorous than other manufacturers. Its panels can withstand extreme temperature changes and perform well in most climates.

Nobody wanted to install solar on our house because it is a manufactured home unless we pay cash. Smart Solar was willing help us and use financing and also gave us a few more panels to cover our shed and pool we want to build. Adrian went the extra mile to come out to look at our house to make sure

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Bastrop is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
