They were dishonest about the facts of the credit with taxes and insisted even though it says tax credit it was actually a check in hand to pay back to the loan company in order to maintain our monthly payment! TWO different agents confirmed it wasn't credit but a check in hand! They were dishonest about the production of the solar panels. They were dishonest about the time frame it takes. They were dishonest about the entire cost. They were dishonest about the monthly payments. We made a giant mistake allowing them to guilt us back into a contract after cancelling the first one! They sent in

Nathan (sales) and Carlos (install) were great!! There was a hiccup with scheduling that keeps me from rating them 5 stars - but the company (or maybe just my sales rep) made it right for me. They have done a nice job following up in the last 3 months since we started. I got in just in time - my budget billing was slated to increase by 29% but that won’t be the case now!! ONE YEAR LATER: Although my system produces the amount of solar they said it would, Big Dog sorely under-sized my system. At first, I thought there was a problem on my part - maybe we were using more energy, or maybe it was t

Absolute nightmare. Unlicensed electrician that said he had more skills than a licensed one. He changed out breakers the were not code and forced the wires so they would fit. Almost all the panels brackets missed the rafters and are only in 7/16” OSB sheathing. Forcibly pulled THHN wires through metal conduit and shaffed the wire coating, exetra.

We believe that, once said and done, Big Dog has installed a quality system. Our system was finally completed mid December and we have been building credits since March. Thankfully we will not be paying Northwestern Energy for electricity for the remainder of this year. The overall cost was competitive. Alyssa J proved to be the glue that held the installation process all together. She was always right there johnny on the spot seeing that we got the answers and support that we required. Thank you so very much, Alyssa, you are greatly appreciated! 5 Stars here!!!

I’ve had my solar panels for a couple of years and had to have my roof replaced. I called Big Dog Solar and had them remove them and reinstall them after the roof had cured. JaLisa was extremely professional and called multiple times to check on progress and double checked once the project was done. I would highly recommend them if you’re searching for solar.

I was grateful to work with big dog solar! They did a fabulous job of removing and replacing my existing solar panels so I could have my roof replaced. They were very timely and professional, and followed up with me to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I highly recommend them!

Ulises was great and contacted me prior to arrival arrival. They worked as a team to find the leak and repaired it in a timely manner.

- It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
- It posts on YouTube, X, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Great Falls is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
