Its one and two star share is 1 point above the typical installer in the Bozeman area. Across Montana, 10 of the 36 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 154 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Everything went great until they were paid. They were supposed to set up the inspection with the energy company and have not set it up or responded. Now we have a $25,000 system that has yet to be turned on and receive no benefit.

6/3/26 Edited to include the price paid was for 14 panels only, nothing else. As the Personal Representative of my late father’s estate, I am sharing my direct experience dealing with Bridger Renewables to caution other families. While settling my father's affairs, I discovered he had been signed into a 25-year, $20,000+ solar contract via DocuSign. My father was 88 and technologically illiterate; he did not know how to use email or electronic signatures. I found a handwritten note from the company containing login credentials for the financing company and a Gmail account created the day of th

Had a great experience with Bridger Renewables, it wasn't perfect but that added to my overall view of the company. Talking to Emily and Darby was a wonderful experience. They were professional and a joy to work with. Any question that I posed to them was answered promptly and communicated very well. Things didn't always go well though. Certain issues arose (as they do sometimes) and I found that not only were Emily and Darby fantastic in handling any problems that came up, but the owner Ben personally got ahold of me to make sure the problems were taken care of. I understand that things can g

We had such a great experience with Bridger Renewables! Even though they weren’t the company that originally installed our solar system, they still came out for a service call and went above and beyond to help us. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with. It’s not often you find a company willing to step in and take care of something they didn’t install, but they handled everything quickly and without any hassle. Highly recommend Bridger Renewables if you’re looking for a company that truly cares about their customers and stands behind their work!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

    “warranties. We provide a 10-year warranty for inverters and a 25-year warranty…”
  • Free estimate

“the maximum benefits of solar energy. Free Consultation & Site Assessment We start with a…”

Its website also mentions financing, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
