Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Bozeman. Across Montana, 12 of the 36 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 16 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Bozeman whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Bozeman Green Build is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Bozeman Green Build was great on designing and installing my 7kw system with battery backup. I was most impressed with the time they were willing to take to talk and explain options during the design phase, and with their careful and methodical work throughout the install. They were super flexible, and stuck to the bid. Great operation and fantastic people.

In late spring, we requested proposals for our home from 5 or so solar installers. We chose Bozeman Green Build based on the combination of price and experience. They did not disappoint. Their entire team - owner, staff, installers, electrician - were professional from start to finish. We had numerous questions along the way, which were answered promptly and courteously. They were able to get the install finished prior to the iffy weather season, as promised. We flipped the switch to turn the system on last week, and couldn't be happier. It is also worth noting that they treat their employees

Fantastic to work with! Our community, Bozeman Cohousing, hired BGB to install all the solar for our community of 43 house holds and private solar for about 85% of us and the process from my perspective was smooth and efficient. The preparation and signage before the installation was clear and thorough. When builders were in site they were polite and super respectful of the property. Working with payment and financing was also easy and all were kind. I appreciate the professionalism of the employees and am thrilled to now have functioning solar power which brought my most recent bill down to m

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“activation, and our industry-leading warranty of 15 years means we're always…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and family owned, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
