Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Bozeman. Across Montana, 12 of the 36 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 21 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Installed roof top solar with 12Kw Sol-Ark inverter in March 2022. No problems since. Plenty of power for house and charging two EVs. Very pleased with the product and customer service when needed. Thanks folks.

Harvest Solar is a great solar contractor! They installed my first rooftop solar array in 2021, delivered and installed on time and on budget. In 2025, they took down and reinstalled my rooftop array for re-roofing. They reinstalled the array perfectly. Then I had them do an addition with larger panels and again, delivered and installed on time and on budget, with installation matching the preexisting panels perfectly. The field staff was very responsive and knowledgeable, as is the office/management staff. I recommend Harvest Solar without reservation and would use them again without hesitati

Harvest Solar did an excellent job! I love that they’re a local company. The whole team was knowledgeable, skilled, and polite, and communicated clearly throughout the process. Now I love not having an electric bill. Highly recommend!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“We will review all possible financing options and facilitate that process as well.”

  • Years in business

“licensed electrical contractor with more than 30 years of experience offering affordable…”

  • Licensed

“Harvest Solar is a locally owned, licensed electrical contractor with more than…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
