The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 203 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Sales guy came to my door today. We didn't want to bother answering since I could see through my ring doorbell that it was a salesman. He rang again and so I had to come out to confront him. I open the door and I told him we weren't interested in anything and I even pointed to my no soliciting sign on my door. He went onto talk about the electric meter and how they weren't selling anything. I said okay we're not interested thanks. He then proceeded to say "we'll turn it off then" in a rude way. Not sure if he was referring to the meter or what? I don't even know how he would do that? Overall u

Big Dog Solar service was poor in multiple ways: - no show scheduled visits with no call/communication - no replies to their preferred support communication methods on multiple occasions - technicians who caused more problems than they fixed (half our array didn't work for weeks after they came to map the array and evidently pinched a wire when reinstalling) - technicians who didn't do what they were supposed to do and didn't tell us what was done (they often come and go without even knocking on the door) - service scheduling delays that took many weeks or even months to get a technician sched

Do not recommend!! We've had nothing but issues with our system since the beginning. Half the panels did not work for over a year, finally the "manager" came out and said the employees that wired them pinched a wire. He redone the wiring and they worked for half the year. Now the whole system don't work and they refuse to send someone out to check their own mess up without us paying a "diagnostic fee". I understand a fee if it was our mess up, but to pay a fee for something thats been wrong since the beginning is beyond me. Oh and don't get me started on the warranty they say you have, because

We are about midstream in our solar project. Ryker Parkinson was very patient with us and describing what would take place. And Daniel came out. Did a site survey. Both gentlemen are very polite and thorough. So far so good.

Conor is a dope, down-to-earth dude who's just trying to help show the benefits of the program without being pushy. The technician who came by was also super polite, promptly on time, and did what he needed, then said his farewells. Honestly, not much to say outside of awesome folks and great experiences thus far.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on YouTube, X, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Grand Junction is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
