I have had numerous problems with leaks from solar installation and this company, along with Palmetto, do not seem to know how to fix it. Had I known they would have done such a shoddy job I would have gone with another company. Absolutely pathetic.

2 times in less than a week our internet is down for several days. Was told that the new SIM cards had been overnighted on a Wednesday. It’s Friday and still no SIM cards…..another weekend with no internet service. Customer service rep lady was very nice and apologetic about it, however a gentleman answered the phone a second time and was very rude and disrespectful.

Can someone in your office please give us a call to discuss the current internet issues? If anyone else uses this company and uses a hot spot- please be wary Several weeks ago the battery expanded on the hotspot causing the case to come off. I was told “ this is a regular occurrence “. At no point do they tell you about this issue. Please be careful - this can be dangerous if the hotspot is left plugged in for a long period of time As soon as battery replacement arrived , we got a message saying that the service was down for and extended period of time. The company has been very vague about th

First I want to say that I am very happy to have solar, it's something I wanted for awhile but didn't really know how to get. Every person that came to the house has been relatively okay, one showed up a day early and we didn't know who he was, he was on the phone with someone and said he would get to us when he was done with his call, this was a stranger in my yard trying to give me orders, didn't like that. The install team was late, they said it was a last minute meeting, but I found out it was just a regular meeting they have all the time, so why was my install time scheduled for their reg

Team was very helpful and prompt on all aspects. Fast forward 1 year later. I was gullible and didn't do my part in reading and knowing my contract and that's my fault. But on the other hand the sales rep was sorry. Never once told me a lein would be put on my house. Guaranteed a $10,000 tax return. [Only $4400] Sold me 12 more panels than my house actually needed. A total of 23 panels. A neighbor of mine has 300 more sq ft than my house and he has only 11 panels. I don't believe the sales rep Eric Dunn works the anymore but carolina connections r at fault just as much.

I had a great experience from start to finish. The installation crew was knowledgeable, efficient and organized. All my questions were answered in a timely manner whenever I called the office. The system works well, no issues.

Great experience from start to finish! From initial contact to going live, we were kept apprised of progress and any questions were answered in a timely fashion. The installers only needed one day to install 26 panels and did a great job of cleaning up and setting expectations about what was to follow. Don't think we could have asked for anything better. Thanks Carolina Connections!!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Family owned

“in 1991, Carolina Connections is a family owned southern company serving residential…”
  • Licensed

“thousands of dollars by going Solar. Licensed & Insured We are official, BBB…”

Its website also mentions financing and insured, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
