Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Santa Clarita area. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Santa Clarita area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Clean Energy Solar Direct is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Well this is my first time to have Solar. I wasn’t sure what to expect and I was a bit nervous about the whole process. I was soon introduced to Omar Segura, and I must tell you he is an amazing person, absolutely kind, and very professional. He delivers!! He gets the job well done!! He stopped at nothing to make sure that everything was done completely and satisfactorily. My solar is up and running perfectly and done in record time. Absolutely amazing. Thank you Omar!! I pray that Father God will continue to bless you as you help others in pursuit of their Solar dreams. Thanks!!!

We recently had solar installed and Omar was fantastic. Not knowing anything about solar, Omar introduced us to solar, savings on our very high summer LADWP electric bills and patiently answered our many questions. Once we decided, he was there to help with any questions during each phase of the installation. Omar is very well educated in solar, highly professional and super down to earth. I can't recommend him enough!

Omar was extremely helpful and friendly during our entire experience with him. He addressed any concerns we had and worked to get our project finished as soon as possible. He is very well informed and involved in the solar field. Definitely recommend using his services!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
