Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Santa Clarita area. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 66 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Santa Clarita area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. California Solar & Electric Inc. is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

It's been over a year since we started working with California Solar & Electric Inc to install a system on our commercial building and we are still waiting for our system to be operational :-(

Within an hour of posting my initial review regarding a delayed referral bonus, the owner personally reached out, apologized for the administrative oversight, and sent the referral bonus immediately. I really appreciate the direct accountability and quick resolution. I'm leaving my original review below for transparency, but their prompt response today restored my confidence in their management. I originally had a positive experience with California Solar Electric during my 10.12 kW solar and Powerwall 3 installation last year. Unfortunately, their post-install customer support and business et

I purchased my house last year and have very little time to put solar on my roof before the tax credits expired in the end of December. I contacted a local, highly reviewed company and they pressured me to move very quickly with very little information, which left a sour taste in my mouth. My next door neighbor recommended the company he used, California Solar & Electric. Despite a narrowing window to complete the project and so many people desperately wanting solar, my experience with this company was pretty smooth end-to-end and I would definitely recommend them. My only small critique was t

We reached out to this company because their pricing was competitive. We wanted to take full advantage of the tax incentives and rebates to fund our project before the deadline. They initially recommended a two battery system but one of them didn’t qualify for the SGIP rebate so we decided to downgrade the system to just a single battery. They knew that going into the project but still recommended the larger system. When we decided to downgrade the system we were charged a fee to change the plans which was frustrating. The rebate process was long and required us to send multiple follow up emai

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions financing, warranty, free estimate and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
