The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 51 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Exceptional customer service from CleanTech Energy Solutions! After having our solar installed in 2020, we recently needed help after an electrical panel upgrade disconnected our system. CleanTech handled all the coordination with SDG&E to get our RMA reinstalled and our solar back up and running fast. Top-notch service even years down the line!

When we had to re-roof our house we were stuck with an ancient 40 year old decomposing solar water system that amazingly still worked. But the entire assemblage on the roof had to be removed and replaced after the new roof was laid down. Karin absolutely understood all the problems we faced and very efficiently solved them. The worn out system was removed and Clean Tech did a brilliant job installing new solar panels that worked flawlessly with all the old plumbing. Karin was a life saver and we are very grateful. I highly recommend Clean Tech!

Karen and Keith were amazing to work with. They are experts in their field and helped us get our solar system up and running on a very short timeframe. I highly recommend them.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

“project contract." CleanTech is a family owned and operated, been in business…”

  • Years in business

  • Licence number

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Oceanside is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
