Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 19 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

Amazing job and reasonable price! Worked with the roofing company to remove solar panels and reinstall after my roof was replaced. I HIGHLY recommend Rodrigo and his company. Was very informative and knows what he is doing. They were professional, quick and clean!

Rodrigo came to my home promptly, analysed the problem correctly (inverter), handled the warrantee (original installer was gone), ordered a replacement and changed it out. He did what he said he’d do when he said he do it for a good price. Happy customer. Mike Birket

Contracted Rodrigo for solar panels installation, he and his crew did an excellent work, very competent and professional. I have recommended R&P Solar to my friends

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions free estimate, insured, licensed and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Thumbtack. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Oceanside is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
