I have been waiting for my system since late April 2025. At first there were manny delays because of devlin selling me a system that national grid would not support. Revised system plan was done, then the interconnected applications wasn’t filled out properly 3 months delayed here. It’s now November 2025, installation was supposed to happen on 11/20/2025, didn’t happen. They told me to dig trench from where the batteries were going to the house across the driveway. I explained I can’t have the driveway blocked as is critical to get in and out. Tech told me they will be back first thing in the

I purchased a Solar System From Devlin in 2020 which was not a great experience and This year We noticed a panel was under performing. I reached out to the service team (Brian) and he replied quickly saying he would have Enphase reset the MI. I reached out again and he said he would check to see if they had done the reset. I reached out again and he ghosted me. (3/3/2025 Initial email) I started calling the service department to try to get a hold of someone to take care of my issue. Farley told me he would ask and they should be back to me soon. 6/2/2025 after multiple calls to the service dep

Edited: our electric company came to do work and had to shut our power off, the solar should automatically shut down as well, it did not. This is extremely dangerous, something was not installed correctly or is broken. The power company shut our solar down (literally locked it) and we contacted devlin, it's been almost 2 weeks and here we are, paying for solar panels that are shut off. Just another thing to add to the long list Where to start... The financing process through the only VT financing company was a nightmare. At this point we should have walked away. Once the financing was approved

I will first state the positive. The paperwork process and install went very well. That is about where the positives end. As of now I have a solar system that cost North of 60k. This system is large for a residential home and the expectation per all negotiations via AtenConcepts was the system would sustain the home when there was a grid outage. This was a requirement prior to purchase as we live in a rural area that is subject to harsh weather. What I have now, is a solar system that wont even power a lightbulb if there is a grid outage. As a result it has left my family without power when I

From the beginning of our solar journey, Jon from Devlin Energy was not just a skilled salesman, but also a reliable professional who made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. We spent months researching local companies and even created a spreadsheet to compare options, thinking we already knew the best solution for our large solar project. However, after meeting Jon, we realized we were missing out on a superior product, better warranties, and a local solar loan option. Jon provided clear and informative communication throughout the entire process, explaining expectations, time

In 2023, we decided to look into using solar energy for our house. After a lot of careful research and comparing different options available to us, we settled on Devlin Energy. And we are very happy we did. There were some delays in getting the project started, but once it began we were very pleased with the work and the professionalism of the crew. Admittedly, we were skeptical about the benefits of solar energy in regards to savings, but after almost 2 years, our concerns have been satisfied. And the back up battery system works very well. There have been several times it has been needed, an

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Licensed

“than 7,000 systems with a team of licensed electricians Home: Testimonials John…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and family owned, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram, X, Facebook and LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
