Its one and two star share is 21 points above the typical installer in California. Across California, 209 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 9 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Melissa Cope home security and solar consultant is very rude and disrespectful, she likes to tell other women to “put the fork down”. If I need to post the proof please let me know.

Wouldn’t stop talking about being an anti vaxxer.

Erika has been an incredible help to us after a nightmare solar installation experience with a different company that has been unethical and irresponsible. We have been lucky enough to be pointed in her direction as a positive resource when we were struggling to find a company we could count on to guide us through our solar issues. We wish that we would have found this company more than a year ago so that we could have partnered with an ethical, competent, responsible and considerate company who cares about the customers they work with, and I will suggest to anyone considering solar that you u

Our solar panels were installed last Summer and our electric bills were reduced to half and still decreasing. Express Energy Solutions explained the process well and kept the communications going well throughout. They listened to all our concerns and took care of all the details we wanted done. All in all, it was a good experience.

amazing costumer service and quick installation. Loved working with EES. The process was so seamless; I would recommend to anyone looking to add solar panels to their home!

What reviewers keep mentioning

  • simple process 2

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“highest quality products and the best financing options for each individual customer. Agree…”

  • Years in business

“some of the best in California with over 15 years in the experience and offering 25+…”

Its website also mentions warranty and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
