Freedom Solar Energy

Each mark is one company we hold in the Brooksville area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Freedom Solar Energy is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Was mis- lead by sales they approached us after they saw we were waiting on permits with another solar company they assured us we could cancel with other company without any issues. However 6 months after we switched to Freedom we get a collection letter from previous company for $500. Contacted our sales person sent them the collection letter also text 3 times. Sales rep was out of office and no one has responded back on how to handle the collection letter which now has impacted our credit rating. Their customer service is horrible I was baited into switching and then ghosted !if they talk yo

On 08/20/2021, I purchased a SunPower Solar system from Justin Vaughan. Justin is the owner of Freedom Solar Energy. Justin was also a licensed SunPower vender and SunPower installer. My house was still under construction when Justin and I entered into our agreement. I explicitly told Justin there was no way he could accurately size my solar system without at least 6 months of a Teco bill. I told Justin I wanted my solar system to cover my entire light bill up to the 110% allowed. Justin assured me that he would use the appropriate wiring so that I could add panels in the future. This company is not responding back to us at all. We have panels, they are not working. FRUSTRATING.

April 2024: Had a large solar system (Sunpower M Series) installed on a complex characteristic barrel tile roof of my home. Justin and his team came in and got the work done efficiently and effective. They were extremely knowledgeable about the system. Justin is a local in the area and has been in the solar installation business for many years. Install went great. Got premium panels and professional installation at a great price. Also very important, they took the greatest care on my roof tile and structure. Making sure the roof was sealed correctly and everything was perfect. All went smoothl

A 5 star review isn't enough to capture the skill, integrity, and trustworthiness of this installer. I am extremely happy with the work.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Warranty

“repairs, monitoring, and warranty support. Dual licensed Solar license…”

• Established

“and electrical systems in Florida since 2016. We're not going anywhere. Tesla…”

• Years in business

“How long have you been in business? Over 10 years. We've been installing and…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, insured, licensed and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
