Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.
The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 11 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I have to give credit to Robert at Green Mile Energy – he and his company stepped in and saved my solar + battery project when my original installer, who I’ll just call “X” here, disappeared into the night with a bunch of my (and other peoples’) money. Not only that, but I was up against a tight timeline, having been abandoned by X approximately two months before the end-of-year tax credit deadline. Not everything went perfectly, including my having to pony up some additional money, because everything that I had paid to X disappeared with them. So when Green Mile got involved, I was particular

From the first call to the final panel flip, Green Mile Energy made going solar as effortless as a sunny California morning. I had a lot of issues with the first company I was working with. But Robert, Randal and their team walked us through every step — from design and permitting to installation — with patience, professionalism, and clarity. We always felt like we were in the loop, and not once did we feel rushed or confused about what was happening next. The crew arrived right on schedule and worked cleanly and efficiently. The installation itself was top-notch — neat wiring, carefully pla

I called Greenmile Energy looking for a solar system in December! I signed up right away and they managed to install the system by December 22! My system is turned on and I’m getting the tax credit thankfully. Everyone said it couldn’t be done but Greenmile took care of me. I highly recommend them.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.
What the company says about itself
Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.
Licensed
“We service systems we didn't install Licensed, experienced solar technicians We…”
Its website also mentions warranty and better business bureau, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.
Elsewhere
- It is also reviewed on Houzz and ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
