Its one and two star share is 40 points above the typical installer in Rocklin. Across California, 69 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 120 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Rocklin whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Greenwave Energy is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I have encountered a drastic increase in my gas bill from $120 to $500 after five months, attributed to undisclosed delivery fees. I advise contacting the 800 number on page 5 and the CPUC to report any issues, including any misinformation about credits. Many reviews appear to be fabricated by the owners, Jeremy and Michael Foster, who promise a "green credit" that does not exist, as all gas comes from the same source.

Recently, a man named Jeremy approached my door, smoking a cigarette, and asked for my PG&E bill. He claimed to be offering credits for those going green in California. I firmly declined his request and asked him to leave. Afterward, I spoke with a neighbor who informed me about a similar situation with a company called SFE, which resulted in her bill increasing by $200 due to additional delivery fees, and she incurred $400 in cancellation fees. I am grateful I conducted my research beforehand to avoid falling victim to this scam or any misleading offers. I would put no stars if possible

One young representative came to our house with the same story about saving bills. Then he sent me a text message with a link, grabbed my phone quickly and clicked the link, and did something without my acknowledgment. Then, he gave me a confirmation number. After he left, we realized that it could be a scam for my phone, and we had to cancel my phone number, call banks and changed all banks usernames and passwords. It was a disaster for us because of the rude and pushy behavior. Though we now know it is not a scam after we finally talked to their customers service, but it still made me feel s

I support Arbor Day and green California suppliers like peninsula that started on my electric bill. You always wanna make sure you look at page 3 so that way you see your generation credit and then page 5 for the procurement credit.

People don't realize that our power and gas utility, PG&E, was deregulated in 1999. Since then, they have stopped generating electricity and purchasing gas. So, how does the power company make money? They charge delivery and transportation costs. Can they influence the cost of these fees? Yes, they can, and they do so every month. Can they adjust the price per unit of energy while using Greenwave? No. That is the only reason I can use a third-party provider to acquire a fixed price. If you check at your KWH and Therms charges, you'll find that they vary from month to month. There are now two s

Greenwave is such a game changer with their rates and service. I had such a positive experience and wish I found out about their company sooner.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
