Its one and two star share is 74 points above the typical installer in California. Across California, 16 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 4 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

First of all, this company is OUT OF BUSINESS! Secondly, I have taken over the home from the seller who had installed the solar system with Harness Power, and this company vanished without any course of action for their existing customers. Also, when I was looking at the purchase agreement, the arrangement of the panels do not match the actual layout. I have proof by looking at google satellite images.

If you're looking for a DIY solar project, then Harness Power is for you. Beyond the flashy sales pitch, there has been nothing but repeated incompetence. We are now 7 months into a 2-3 month installation project with no end in sight. I've had to spend countless personal hours trying to manage this project to completion, but I'm out of F---s now. The customer support is a joke - they show zero accountability, and often go weeks without even responding to our questions. I now have a standing weekly meeting with our sales rep, Matt Maus, but he says he has no control over the delivery teams. Whe

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
