Harrimans Solar Energy Solutions

Each mark is one company we hold in Sarasota whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Harrimans Solar Energy Solutions is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

In 2021 I had replaced all my solar panels for my swimming pool, was told, have 10 years warranty. I replaced 7 panels, about $6000 One of my solar panels is constantly leaking, have leaking since Harrimans replaced it, I call service twice a year on it. Now they are telling me, that all my seven panels not on the warranty, bc tubing( connection) came loose after storm. Mr.Randy calmed me down, that a thousands people have the same problem and lost their warranties! After storm you DONT HAVE WARRANTY on all your panels. People have to know in Florida, that it’s bad investment!

Called to get an estimate on Dec 17th and I still haven’t received it. Called and followed up several times and still no estimate. Unacceptable, especially considering I had two companies provide an estimate within ONE DAY.

BEWARE OF POOR CUSTONER SERVICE AND SERVICE MANAGER! Felt we needed to make folks aware of our service experience(s)with Harrimans. While their install went well, we later had an issue with their attach point(s) on our tile roof. Their service manager was extremely rude and blamed the roof install. Checked with city and roofer who both said our roof install was proper and the attach point of the solar was the issue. We ended up paying both the roofer and Harrimans for the repair. Later had a leaking tube issue and foind the service manager had put us on COD. Payment was NEVER an issue!!! BE VE

Asked to have a rep call me back for quotes. They never did. I gave the job to another company.

Harriman’s exceeded my expectations! They were so professional and came out to provide a quote in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of solar services!

Better than what we could have imagined. We decided to go the route of solar rather than gas heat for our pool and hot tub. With the controller we are able to cap the temperatures on both. Every afternoon, our hot tub is at 104 and pool at 98. It may dip a couple degrees at night or depending on if it's overcast all day, but it's still amazingly comfortable. Our utility bills didn't budge at all. One time expense, set the temps in the app and forget it. No having to wait while having to run a pool heater for hours just to get to a desired temperature while your gas/electricity bill climb. I go

The first line of help at Harrimans is at the office level when you call. A+ for their patients and professionalism.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Years in business

“quality customer service for over 50 years. With over 20,000 satisfied customers…”

• Better Business Bureau

“20,000 satisfied customers and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau –…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It posts on X, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Sarasota is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
