Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Sarasota. Across Florida, 314 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 429 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I bought my solar system from Jim Roarke, the original owner, who sold the business to his daughter-in-law, Ann. I would give Jim's company leadership 5 stars, and Ann's company leadership gets ZERO stars. Facts below: Had my first interaction with Ann to argue about their requirement that I put a credit card on file, after four emails about payment and four phone calls about payment before they even came out to do service. I've been their customer for 10 years and I've paid every bill on time. This has never been an issue before because, this has never been their policy for a simple service c

I had a system installed by Roark Solar in November of 2024. Unfortunately, the system that they designed and sold me does not heat my pool enough to even come close to justifying the cost. It was originally designed to be a 6 panel system, which, I was told in discussions with the owner, would heat my pool to a reasonable swimming temperature for all but the 3 coldest months of the year. While this can obviously change depending on the weather conditions, this amount would add about 6 months of warm water in the pool on solar alone. When installation time came, the team informed me that the o

Men we dealt with were great. Came out quickly and this was during Ian aftermath. We had to have our Solar panelsbladders removed and reinstalled so.the roof could be replaced. We also added an electric heat pump. Prices were fair and timing was good. However, when my solar panels were reinstalled they leaked making them useless. They were either damaged before removed or during removal/reinstall but were not told. Had we been, we would not have had them reinstalled. Also, we had a warranty issue on the heat pump (Hayward) but they don't service them, even they sold it to us.

Andrew and Kevin, we’re both very professional. They diagnosed the issue. My solar panels were having and repaired them. Highly recommend.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“credentials, service and product warranty details, and downloadable manuals and…”
  • Family owned

    “solutions. As a second-generation, family-owned business, we’ve built our reputation…”
  • Licensed

“stays safe, sound, and leak-free. Licensed & Certified Professionals Fully…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, established, years in business and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Angi, Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
