Its one and two star share is 1 point above the typical installer in Florida. Across Florida, 325 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 22 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

  • 1★ · around August 2023 · the company replied

Very disappointing experience. Eleven months of excuses and apologies before work started. Did not complete the job, dropped off all the parts to a solar hot water system that was supposed to be installed at the same time as the solar panel installation. I had to hire another contractor to install the hot water system. If you want confusion, frustration, and incomplete work, hire these people. I thought Kyle was a nice fellow but he really screwed me.

  • 5★ · around October 2025

Kalahari knows their stuff and does top notch work. Some people operate in the spirit of service and do their work effectively, efficiently, and with entrepreneurial drive all while being a treat to work with. I would highly recommend Cyle and his company for any solar installation, they are true pros.

We were truly impressed with Cyle and his crew at Kalahari. From the very first contact, they were attentive and quick to respond. They explained the entire process clearly and took the time to answer all of our questions. Their work was extremely professional, flawless in every detail, and showed great commitment and expertise. I’ve never had such a positive experience with a company like this. They delivered exactly what they promised, were punctual, and highly reliable. I would recommend them 100%.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“come with an 25 year performance warranty so that our customers can have the…”

  • Insured

“for your home - We are licensed , insured and certified to make this a turnkey…”

  • Licensed

“what is right for your home - We are licensed , insured and certified to make this…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
