Its one and two star share is 1 point above the typical installer in Maryland. Across Maryland, 50 of the 111 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

When we were considering solar, we got 8 different estimates, and many were close in cost. The huge difference with Key Solar Solutions was their reputation for excellent customer service and this was demonstrated early on by how quickly they responded to any question or concern we had. There are a lot of businesses that could learn a thing or two from this team and what excellent service means. They usually respond to our email or call within an hour or two. Try that with any of the huge, multi-state contractors… You will be lucky to hear from them within a month or two.. Our salesperson (Jes

Our solar install is finishing up today and we are so impressed by the team. Our system looks awesome and we couldn’t be happier! The solar crew is professional, detail-oriented, and go above and beyond! We are so excited to get our system turned on - thank you, Key Solar!!!! 👏👏👏 …

I cannot say enough good things about Key Solar. Our sales person Jesse was great from the start. Super friendly and easy to talk to. He also checked in with me several times throughout the process to make sure I was happy and didn’t have any questions. Billy was great too helping coordinate the install, electrician and final inspection. Quite honestly, Key Solar far exceeded my expectations on customer service. The solar panels themselves look awesome and came with a very fair price tag. The install happened earlier than expected too which was a nice surprise. If you want solar, this is defin

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Frederick is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
