Its one and two star share is 12 points above the typical installer in California. Across California, 361 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 31 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

  • 1★ · around August 2025 · the company replied

Terrible experience. Hired Ken to install needed electric prior to an outdoor sauna arriving. For over a month he had the manual, specs and contact for the company. For weeks I asked him if he was sure on what was needed and if he needed to talk to anyone. He confirmed many times it was all set. He ended up totally misquoting the job, installed a 120 outlet instead of a 240, then proceeds to tell me he isn’t going to take the blame but then says it’s his fault. Now I have a sauna sitting there that I can’t test installation and I have to leave town which he knew. Quotes me the price for the ad

Super responsive and efficient. Fixed our system faster than expected.

Reviewer names are not published here. Negative reviews are shown first because they are the ones a listing hides, not because they are more representative.

What reviewers keep mentioning

  • cleanliness 4
  • polite staff 3

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Woman owned

“KS Electric is your licensed, woman-owned subcontractor for scalable, certified…”

  • Warranty

“Generac, and more—ensuring safe, warranty-compliant installs every time. Fully…”

  • Established

“Valley with quality installations since 2009. California CSLB License #775849…”

  • Bonded

“Fully Licensed & Insured We’re bonded, insured, and licensed for…”

  • Insured

“every time. Fully Licensed & Insured We’re bonded, insured, and licensed…”

  • Licensed

“homes powered, KS Electric is your licensed, woman-owned subcontractor for…”

Its website also mentions years in business and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • Google also lists this company under electrical.
  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
