  DON'T GET SOLAR!!!! It is a waste of Money!!! We have had our system for many years now and it's a big one. Its covers the whole roof of our business. It was just over a $100,000 project. was told that it would pay for it self around year 5. Well it has not and I would much rather have my money back!! We began to have issues with it not producing the same power output after about 2 years of being installed and it began to produce less and less each year. So the project landed on my desk to handle. Called and was told that lightwave could no longer see into our system and that we had some issue

  They are terrible and unprofessional. Came to my house and the unprofessional immature surveyors didn’t do a survey worth doing. Then, the company had me hanging on for months for a quote they never intended to provide. When asked why they just said they don’t want to provide it. I lost time and money getting the run around from these clowns. Very poor professionalism and business practice. Do yourself a favor and choose the next company to save time and money.

  I'm shocked to see these guys have such positive reviews. I'm sure they do great work however the service they use to collect referrals called me at 6am This is not professional and I already have solar.

  We have had Lightwave Solar install panels on our ranch style home, first in 2012, and again in 2025. We also added three PowerWall batteries over the last two years. The LW staff, from the installers to the electricians to the front office are wonderful. We have been so pleased with the system. One benefit we never realized is that the solar panels actually serve to shade your roof, which keeps our home cooler during the hot summer days. One consideration many folks do not think about with the upfront costs are the long range savings, especially in these time of rising electricity costs. We h

  Lightwave did a tremendous job with our solar and Tesla battery back up system ! We did a full house back up with Tesla power walls, and enough panels to generate about 60% of our requirement. We plan to add more panels in the coming year as well to further expand our production and back up power. From planning, to engineering, install and then walk through teaching how the system works has been amazing. Some of the best contractors I’ve ever worked with. We get some nasty storms in TN and the security of knowing this system is there has been great and has come in handy several times already.
