ReNew Solar Solutions

Each mark is one company we hold in Nashville whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. ReNew Solar Solutions is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I was put in contact with ReNew by QMerit the company hired by Cadillac to run its rebate EV charger installation program. On the first call I was asked if a third party would be paying part of the cost. I refused to answer that question but did reply that shouldn’t make any difference. Cadillac was paying the first $1,500. Then I was asked questions about the install and to send pictures of the proposed location of the EV charger. Then without coming out to my house to see what would actually be involved I was supplied a quote, not unexpectedly more than the Cadillac allowance of $1,500. I re

I’ve had a fairly interesting situation with renew. First off they installed just the solar panels (so a partial install of the total job) and wanted to be paid 85% of the total bill. Communication has been very challenging and sometimes goes days or weeks without being able to get a hold of someone. Even as I type the solar still isn’t on but was asked for full payment 2 months prior even though the work failed inspection. That being said, I personally like the people and Ryan and Colby have been very good to work with once on site and on the phone.

I have done business with Mr. Lyons for over 20 years. Great people and service after the sale. Best in the business. Highly recommend.

Renew Solar Solutions is the premier Solar & Battery company in the state of Tennessee. Start to finish- they are thorough and will make sure your system is aesthetically pleasing and sized customary to your needs. Colby Harmon in particular might be the brightest and most detail oriented Solar/Battery expert I have met. Highly recommend this organization if you are considering a residential or commercial solar system. Today's world- having trusted local energy sources and self-sufficiency has never been more important. All praise for the ones doing it right in this industry! They will quote a

ReNew came to me during a very busy, rushed and crushed season when the tax incentive for solar was about to be rescinded. They were able to install my ground mount array with storage batteries in my garage to create a beautiful solar system that has cut my utilities far back. I appreciate how the system switches from solar to grid when needed without any glitch, pause, or interruption. I truly hope that they can continue this work because solar is the very epitome of energy independence. With the heavily loaded power grid every day taxes the system more and I am safe from brownouts, blackouts

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Family owned

“a Consultation Local GooD ReNew is family owned and local to Nashville. We are proud…”

Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
