Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in Hawaii. Across Hawaii, 53 of the 87 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

  • 5★ · around December 2025 · the company replied

Preston of Maui Solar did an absolutely outstanding job planning and installing our solar system. I’m glad we found him and delighted to provide an enthusiastic recommendation in his behalf. While there are many solar installers on Maui I seriously doubt you will find a better choice than Preston and his team at Maui Solar.

Maui Solar Pros are lifesavers! Our inverter broke down, and they got it fixed quickly and efficiently. Preston and his team was friendly and professional, and we couldn't be happier with their service. Highly recommend them for any solar repair needs here on Maui!

Maui Solar Pros Inc was contracted by Haleakala Solar to install a Battery Wall at my residence. Preston and Joseph were very knowledgeable and professional. They were so great to work with.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions financing and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Makawao is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
