very disappointed. came to the door and fred was great. sold me on another meeting. then we met scott and that went great. alittle computer trouble and we were alittle weary because we were interested in hearing numbers and yet it didn't seem like they really wanted to dive into that subject. but we actually said yes and after hearing the incentives then we were on board. I had the proposal looked at professionally and come to find out hidden cost that weren't explained. and the tax credit they preach about is great! if you don't want to use it towards your solar bill as they preach. its as it

I am paying for solar panels plus my electricity through Horry Electric. I am always on the grid. This system is just stealing money from me. I have had problems from the get-go. Lightening electric is the worst. I don't hear from any of the people at myrtle beach solar to figure out why I'm paying for solar if it's not working. Decorations on my roof.

Trey and Dean are extremely knowledgeable with solar, battery and generator systems. 3 years ago Myrtle Beach Solar installed solar panels which cut my grid costs by about 30%. Contacted Trey and Dean a few weeks ago about completing my system with a battery pack. Educated me on the benefits of battery vs generator back up. Obviously the battery option offers much better value in the long run and helps dramatically with my desire to cut my grid usage on a daily basis. Extremely satisfied with the installation and so far my system has meet all of my expectations. Highly recommend Myrtle Beach S

Last year at the home show in Myrtle Beach we talked with a representative from Myrtle Beach Solar. We had been thinking about going solar and after speaking with Patty we made an appointment. The plan was to have Patty access our property for the best solar result; she reviewed our past invoices then we talked about what would be best for us. Patty is truly knowledgeable as to how their system works and explained it through her presentation. When Patty left our home, we knew just what to expect, such as number of solar panels we would need to maximize solar panels, when the install would take

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Warranty

“— backed by a 25-year production warranty. Get my free quote -> 843-236-0994…”

• Free estimate

“a 25-year production warranty. Get my free quote -> 843-236-0994 SC homes powered 0…”

Its website also mentions 24/7 availability, established and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
